Drill Attendance

Attendance at unit drills is required. We drill 12 times a year and expect full attendance for at least 9 drills yearly to maintain enrollment. It is your responsibility to notify the unit at least one week in advance when you will be unable to attend. Drill dates and the POD for each drill will be posted on unit website under POD 20XX normally two weeks in advance and unit personnel will notified via email, via telephone and via our Facebook page.

National training orders for advanced trainings cannot be used to make up missed drills. They count for advancement requirements depending on rank. If you can only attend a portion of a drill weekend due to the foregoing approved acceptable reasons, you will not miss a drill if you do attend 2 of the 5 portions of a drill weekend. Cadets must utilize the COC to clear this in advance if a drill may be compromised due to scheduling conflicts.
